Absolutely perfect ! Hotel owner was very helpful and friendly, location was great-just 2-3 mins to metro station. Room was new and very clean (same for the bathroom). We won't forget the croissants and espressos in the mornings :) I think you get more than what you pay for.. I strongly encourage everybody to stay here.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel! The location was pretty convenient - just a short walk to the metro station and in a safe area, too. In fact, I felt comfortable walking around even at nighttime. The room I stayed in was spotless and felt like a home away from home.
Couldn't stay longer!

Everything! It was fantastic. Room was fabulous and staff friendly and helpful. We were given a map and a talk about what to go and see and how best to get there. Brilliant idea and saved us a lot of time and energy in trying to suss this out ourselves. Breakfast was great with access to free refreshments including great coffee and cake whenever you liked! Room was spotless and made up every day....very modern with great facilities. Great all round.

This hotel provided us with an ultra-luxurious experience. the rooms were spacious and came with top-notch amenities. the private facilities were exquisite, with everything reflecting the latest technology. the service here was impeccable and very personalized. Located conveniently near the metro, we had easy access to all parts of the city. This hotel exceeded our expectations with their exceptional standards of luxury.
The only minor downside was the noise level, as it was situated near a busy road. the hotel provided us with complimentary earplugs, which took care of the issue.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting (top floor of an apartment building) but was very stylish, with tea, coffee, water, cake and fruit available, gratis, throughout the day; a lovely rooftop terrace; a host for whom nothing was too much trouble and who spent half an hour with us when we first arrived talking us through a map of Rome and making suggestions; and a very comfortable and well appointed room - including a very luxurious bathroom.
It was a little further out from the centre than I would have ideally chosen (my fault for not doing my research properly) but having said that, it was reasonably handy for the coliseum, and close to a metro station, and there was also a bus that ran to the centre.

The view from the room could be better due to the building's location.

A surprise when you arrive on the 7th floor of this B&B. With open arms we were welcomed by the owner Giorgio. He took time to explain the area, public transport etc. Nice terrace, very clean rooms and good, non touristic restaurants in the area. We will go again when next in Rome!

We can highly recommend St. John's Terrace and will surely come back again. Marco the owner is not only very nice but also very helpful by all kind of means. He gives you a good overview of sights, restaurants and transportation. We had a room with an ensuited bathroom and really liked it. It was modern, clean and very comfortable. The terrace is a perfect location to chill, plan your day and have breakfast (above Italian standard). If you like comfort, personal treatment, a laid back atmosphere than St. John's should be your pick!
It is a bit hard to find at first, but once you got your orientation you will acutally like the location.

The decoration of the room was very modern and nice. the staff was friendly and helpful. the location was pretty good, close to public transport and easy to access tourist attractions.
The walls were thin, so we could hear noises from other rooms and guests talking in the common areas even during the night. there was no 24, hour reception, which was inconvenient for early check, outs or late check.

Marco and the other staff member at the hotel were really friendly and welcoming, happy to go through the top sites in Rome and how to get there, and to start each day with a fresh cappucino. The room and bathroom was always impeccably cleaned.
